PRELIMNARIES AND PRELIMNARY WORK
PRELIMNARIES PRELIMNARY 1: The Preliminary is based on the song Come As You Are by Nirvana , focusing on raw yet simple visuals that reflect the mood of the track. I casted my sister Fatima in the lead role, who also plays the vocalist in my music video. The performance centers on her playing the guitar, with the camera capturing the emotion and intensity in her movements. This creates a dramatic and eye-catching sequence that matches the energy of the music. PRELIMNARY 2: EDITING: At first, I arranged all the sequences in timeline, chose the right clips for each shot, and then transferred them to my laptop. I then used CapCut Pro to edit my music video, as I’m already familiar with editing from making edits of my favorite celebrities. The work was fun but also a bit complicated for me. After adding everything to the timeline, I muted all the clips to remove unnecessary sound and sped up the parts that felt too slow. I then added a rock filter that matched perfectly with the song...
